A 2004 graduate of the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design with her bachelors degree in Interior Architecture and Design and a minor in Painting, Laura found her true passion in her custom painting business, The Designist, LLC. The business has allowed Laura to pursue the activities that make her most happy. Always looking forward to the next project, she takes great joy in designing a room around the family that inhabits it. An ambitious artist and designer, Laura loves to follow projects through from ideation, to meeting with clients, to selecting materials, and especially getting out her brushes and painting.
The Designist, LLC was started in February 2006. An interior design company specializing in custom painting, the DesignistŐs goal is to bring the unique and artistic to everyday homes. Keeping costs down and focusing on designs fit for the home, clients are pleased with the hand painted designs created especially for their rooms that can make even the smallest bathroom into a work of art. In addition to interiors, The Designist also designs and constructs set for Soulstice Ltd. and provides graphic design services for Milwaukee County Parks and Bilt Rite Furniture.
